GIRL YOU BE KILLIN EM//GIRL YOU BE KILLIN EM. THIS HAS BEEN STUCK IN MY HEAD ALL DAY. MOSTLY CAUSE I JUST BOUGHT SOME REAL SASSY MINT COLORED, ALL SUEDE WITH TASSELS AND SHIT, JEFFERY CAMPBELL WEDGES. PIMPIN.
saw a chick from mi universidad ayer. I was just on the red line coming from a photo assignment and she & 2 other friends got on. We gave each other the deer caught in the headlight look & chatted for a little bit.
its just so crazy because my university only has 2200 people & santiago is so big, just what are the chances.
In English, then - how common is it for people to mention to you that you're the first black person they've ever met? The first African-American? I know when I was living in Chile 10 years ago it was even more unusual than it is now.
Okay cool, so people don’t usually start to mention that i’m the 1st black person until they start to get drunk. i’ve had many nights in Barrio Bellavista when drunk Chilenos come up to me touch my afro & want to take pictures w/ me.
also another thing is that don’t think african am., they usually think brasileño, or colombiano. which makes sense, since those are the 2 closest países con darker people
I’m keepin count of how many times myself, or companeros are offered blow while i’m in chile. The count is up to 7 times.
But my question about the whole situation is why are people so whilling 2 share their cocaína? I mean blow isn’t cheap so are you spose to offer $ or do you provide the straw/ means of suctionin the powder? or do you offer to wipe down the urinal that they will be doing a line of coke off of?
& is it rude to start quoting frases de D.A.R.E. that are of course implanted in my brain from all those awesome hours of wasted class time spent on learning how to say No
